The idea was to design a chair that could both be used outdoors and indoors. Something cool, something unique. How about using round shapes I said to myself. How about something that rain water won’t be trapped in it. By designing round shapes, starting small and then going larger and leaving spaces in between them, I solved the rain trap part. After, I decided to make the part where the back goes the same and a unique shape presented itself. I really liked what I saw and I wanted to make it more comformtable so I combined the wood with fabric. I had no idea what to do with the legs of the chair at the time. Everytime I tried something new the look of the round shape chair was perishing. Finally I used thin pipes to make the chair feel like it is floating up in the air and curved them up which finalized the design.
